Breakfast at the Hotel

The Stanford Hotel’s breakfast and dinner are provided as an optional extras. Some guests prefer to experience the delightful village eateries close by, and some guests do not eat breakfast at all. For guests who do wish to enjoy the in-house convenience of a scrumptious hotel breakfast this must be booked at the time of your hotel reservation.

Healthy Breakfast

R 120 per person

Fruit, Greek yogurt and nuts.
Tea or filter coffee.

English Breakfast

R 180 per person

Eggs, bacon, pork sausage, tomato, toast, jam.
Tea or filter coffee

A packed or light lunch can be arranged by special request.
Hotel dinners can be provided for hotel guests if arranged at the time of booking, affording guests the choice to eat in or eat out. Please remember to book all required meals when making your reservation. Our dining room is reserved for hotel guests exclusively.

Oom Steyn’s Pub

The Stanford Hotel celebrated it’s centenary in 2020 making Oom Steyn’s the oldest pub in the village. Originally nicknamed “The Snake Pit” due to a huge python skin which used to adorn the wall, it was refitted completely in 2003 and named after the current owner’s late husband, Steyn van den Berg.

Oom Steyn’s is only available for private functions and events with the hotel’s beautiful interleading dining room. The pub has its own private beer garden and braai area and is a popular choice for birthday celebrations.
