The Stanford Saturday morning market has had its home on the Stanford Hotel stoep for the past 15 years. It is a petite farmers market, one which has enjoyed the loyal patronage of all of the locals as well as visitors from far and wide.
Fresh out of the oven bread, pies, cakes and snacks. Freshly picked organic vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs. Farm fresh honey, jams and sauces. Homemade gifts and cosmetics.
It is a social hub every Saturday morning from 09.00 to noon, with neighbouring businesses serving pancakes, boerie rolls and real Italian gelato.
The Thrift market is situated in the Hotel’s old bottle store and is now also open every Saturday from 09.00 to noon with great bargains.
